A little background for the last 35+ years?

Sang myself hoarse every summer at camp. Continued singing through college (voice major). My first job out of law school was a singing wench in a restaurant that put on medieval banquets. Told my mother, also a Hagan camper, on her deathbed, that I became an environmental lawyer because of my summers at Hagan. Worked on environmental issues in CT since 1981. Am married to someone who didn't go to camp, have two daughters who love their camp as much as I love Hagan. In 1998 bought a dog from a breeder in East Stroudburg, and named him, Shawnee. Am a sprint and olympic triathlete.


Favorite Camp memory?

vespers chapel because my mother built it as a camper in the 1930s/40s, Hagan Christmas, council fire (my mother planted the trees as a camper), singing in Great Hall after every meal

    Janet, I remember you well from Hagan. I was a few years ahead of you. I was a CIT in 1965 and then stayed on staff through 1969, my final year was DP of boating and canoeing. So glad you found the site. We had a fantastic reunion this past June up in Stroudsburg. Approximately 50 women showed up. We do plan on having another one, but not for a few years. Stay in touch.
