Favorite Camp memory?

The Nixon Eisenhauer presidential convention diner in the mess hall and The rapids at the wall above Port Jervis, and retrieving all the golf balls in the river at Shawnee, and those Hagan dances were so memorable. Also riding in the open Camp Miller truck coming back from hikes and canoe trips. Pulling over Bob Kelner who thought I was a cop because I knew how to flash a light! Getting free gasoline at Herbie's for those night time deer chases in the corn fields. Finally what would a summer be without skunk hunting especially under the cabins in the senior area. Afterwards, we found our way to the infermary to "deskunk" them!

  • Thanks John, The picture brings back memories. It has been so long but there are still strong feelings for the river and the valley and the camp.
