  Phyllis, "Upon further review" as football refs say, I would certainly remember a canoe trip with Ed. 1960 was the last year my brother, Tom, was at Miller; we were both dept. heads that year. He was a much more colorful character and two years older than me. The fact that you remember that leads me to believe it was Tom. He served in the USMC 22.5 yrs. and retired as a Lt. Col. Then raised reindeer for twenty years! Best, Jim

  Phyllis, I remember you and Ed well. In 1960 I was head of A&C and dating Donna Goehringer from Hagan (for three years). I can still see the clock on the office wall. 1960 was the year I got a canoe stuck on a rock in the rapids above Hagan and the canoe literally was wrapped around the rock (aluminum canoe at that). I don't remember who all was on the trip. Ed may have been, not sure. Good to hear from you. Jim
