A little background for the last 35+ years?
Attended college in MA; graduate school in CA and lived/worked in Central America before settling in the SF Bay Area in the late 80's & have been here since... I'm a college professor teaching in the areas of religious/cross-cultural studies & a single dad to an inspiring 14 yr-old son... Much of my work is involved with global human trafficking/related social justice issues and has allowed me to do a fair bit of international travel... Spent the past academic year teaching in Cambodia, Thailand & Mexico... Turned 50 in February & still feeling good about life...
Favorite Camp memory?
All the fine friendships & formative personal growth that marked those summers... Such a valued life season that I still feel very grateful for & recall fondly after all these years...

Happy Birthday Brad!
Good to hear about your partnership/family life of late as well as your work involvements. All sounds good & rewarding. Hope we can reconnect here in SF or elsewhere at some point in the times ahead. Best wishes to you & yours 'til then.
Cheers, Brad
Hello Brad. I wondered what happened to you. My parents stayed in touch with your Mom while my Dad was alive, but I had no idea where you ended up. Stop out for a camp reunion some time, the weekend after Labor Day. You can't imagine a more relaxed weekend of like minded folks, and the kids run free- knowing that there are a godzillion caretakers they can run to. Your son would love it.
Your career choice is fascinating. My two options were seminary or law, and I chose the latter, with few regrets, but my intellectual pursuits still tend toward religion and ethics. Glad to see that you have made your pursuits mre hands on. Thanks for the contact, and I hope that you stay in touch. Blake
Hey Brad!
Mark Weaver from the Miller Hagan Unit (and Abington) here! Great to see what you're up to.
